The electrical side
Most vehicle faults are a connection, not a component
A modern car carries kilometres of wiring and dozens of earth points. When one of them corrodes or loses tension, the symptom shows up somewhere else entirely: dim lights, slow cranking, or a warning light that comes and goes.
We measure the whole circuit under load before anything is replaced. Voltage drop across an earth should be under 0.2 volts. When it is not, that is your fault, and no new alternator will fix it.

The audio side
And most audio faults are electrical faults in disguise
Alternator whine, a sub that cuts out at volume, a head unit that resets on start-up, a reversing camera that died after a stereo upgrade. None of those are speaker problems. They are power, earth and signal routing problems.
The Illawarra has plenty of auto electricians and almost no dedicated car audio installers. Doing both under one roof is the whole point.

Why this workshop
Four things that are genuinely different
Auto electrical and car audio in one workshop
The Illawarra has plenty of auto electricians and almost no dedicated car audio installers. Doing both means an amplifier that cuts out is diagnosed as the electrical fault it is, rather than being blamed on the hardware.
Faults that other workshops handed back
Intermittent problems, lost-communication codes and parasitic drains need physical circuit testing rather than another scan. That is the work we most often get sent.
Standards you can look up
VSI-64 for driving lights, AS/NZS 3001.2 for caravan 12 volt systems, AS/NZS 4601 for immobilisers. Every claim on this site points at a document you can read yourself.
Built for how you actually use the vehicle
Touring power sized from your real daily amp-hour use. Audio designed against the alternator’s real output. Fitouts laid out around how the canopy is opened, not how it photographs.
