Terms of Service

Last updated 18 August 2026.

These terms apply to work carried out by Wired Right Auto Electrical and Car Audio (ABN 59 315 456 258) and to your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Quotes and estimates

A quote is based on the fault as diagnosed and the parts available at the time. Where a fault cannot be fully assessed until work begins, we will provide an estimate and contact you before exceeding it. Diagnosis is quoted separately from repair, because locating a fault and rectifying it are different pieces of work.

Diagnosis

Diagnostic time is charged whether or not you proceed with the repair. You receive the written findings either way. Intermittent faults may require more than one visit; where that is likely, we will tell you before starting.

Workmanship

Our workmanship is warranted. Parts supplied by us carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Where you supply your own parts, our workmanship remains warranted but the part itself, and any consequential failure caused by it, is your responsibility. We will tell you before fitting if we believe a supplied part is unsuitable.

Vehicles left at the workshop

Vehicles are left at the owner’s risk. Please remove valuables. Vehicles not collected within a reasonable period after completion, and after notice, may incur storage charges in accordance with applicable law.

Compliance and modifications

We install accessories and modifications to the applicable Australian standards and NSW road rules, and we will decline work that cannot be made compliant. It remains the vehicle owner’s responsibility to declare modifications to their insurer and to use equipment such as driving lights in accordance with the law.

Payment

Payment is due on collection unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing. Ownership of supplied parts passes on full payment.

Website content

Information on this website, including the guides, is general in nature and provided in good faith. Standards and road rules change. Always confirm current requirements with the relevant authority before relying on them for a specific vehicle.
