Can you give me a firm price from the form alone?

Not quite. For installation work we can usually give a price once we know the vehicle and the product, but until the vehicle has been inspected it is an estimate based on the details you give us, and if we find something outside the agreed scope, such as damaged wiring or a previous install, we explain the extra cost and get your approval first. For a fault, no. An unknown electrical fault is diagnosed first, charged by the hour, and the repair is priced once the cause has been found.

Does it cost anything to get a quote?

Installation quotes are free and there is no obligation to book. Installation work is charged as quoted, and fault diagnosis is charged at $110 per hour. No work goes ahead until you authorise it.

What if I do not know what the problem is called?

That is normal and it is why the first question is written in symptoms rather than trade terms. Pick the closest option, or choose "Something else, I will explain" and describe what the vehicle is doing. The pattern, cold mornings, after rain, over bumps, only with the headlights on, is more useful to us than a diagnosis.

Do you come to me or do I bring the vehicle in?

Wired Right is not a mobile service. Wired Right is based in Albion Park Rail, by appointment only, and all work and drop-offs are arranged by appointment.
